We are proud to be NERDS!

NERDS stands for Northland Engineering Research and Design Squad. We are part of the Astromechs family of teams and completed our third year of competition last season (2021-22). We are the proud winners of the Core Values Inspiration Award at the 2019 Wyandotte High School FLL Qualifier. In the 2020-2021 Season we won the Motivate Award and advanced to the Kansas City Regional Championships. We won the Champions Award In the 2021-22 season at the Olathe NW Qualifier and also had the top performing robot at this competition. At the Kansas City Regional Championships, we were second in robot performance (#1 for in-person competing teams!)

For the 2022-23 season, we’ve decided to move up to FIRST Tech Challenge! Look for more from our team members in the FTC sections of this site.
